A local family of four needs help covering rent 💙

UPDATE: FILLED🌷

Mom is on disability while undergoing cancer treatment, and Dad is in the process of appealing a denied disability claim after a work injury. With middle and high school aged children at home, their income has been significantly impacted.

We are working to raise $1,000 to help keep this family in their home and to ensure we can continue responding quickly when families like this reach out for help.

The need in Cobb County continues to grow.

In 2025, we saw a 73% increase in applications for assistance. January 2026 alone brought a 182% surge compared to last year.

More families are reaching out, and our community continues to respond.

💙 Cobb County, we need your help.

🎉We have raised almost $1750 so far, let's double this!

Seven families in our community have been displaced after a devastating apartment fire in Smyrna and have lost nearly everything.

At this time, furniture and household items are NOT needed, but that will likely change in the coming weeks. We will share updates if that becomes a need.

Right now, their greatest and most urgent need is gift cards so they can purchase essentials like clothing, toiletries, food, and baby items.

Every dollar donated for this specific request will be used to purchase gift cards that will be distributed directly to the families.

Clothing of all sizes and genders is being accepted and can be delivered to Norton Park Elementary School. The school does not have specific size requests at this time due to the volume of need.

We have 2 families who needed our help due to their medical conditions. We need your help to cover these needs🩵

A total of $893 is needed to assist both of these families.

A mom of 7 children has been displaced and staying in hotel. Her children's father passed away which significantly reduced her income. Mom missed work due to major medical issues which led her to get further behind.
$347 is needed to help with this hotel request.

A mother and her 3 children were being evicted from their home. Mom unfortunately suffers from seizures and was recently out of work due to this condition. Mom requested assistance with a hotel so she could have a safe place to move to after having to leave her apartment.
$546 is needed to help with this hotel request.

🚨 We need help supporting a local Cobb mom! 🚨

We recently helped a mom of two children with her rent after she was unexpectedly laid off. She is actively searching for new employment, but right now her family still needs support while she works to get back on her feet.
