I am thrilled to share with you the success of Unity J McGill Foundation's 3rd Annual Redbowtie Fundraiser in Atlanta, which took place on May 20th. Our mission in Liberia has received a tremendous boost thanks to the generous donations and attendance of everyone who supported the event.

Please meet Torwon Gensee, a young man aspiring to become an economist. Similarly to many other Liberians, the lack of resources makes his dream seem hopeless. However, through the Unity J. McGill Scholarship, he can now study and work towards realizing his dream. So today, Torwon is pursuing his economics studies, setting the stage for a promising future.

However, scholarships alone aren't enough. Students also need vital resources such as books and up-to-date computer skills. Our long-term vision is to build an entrepreneurial center equipped with state-of-the-art technology to facilitate information accessibility, internships, and job opportunities. This will empower future generations to broaden their horizons, encourage entrepreneurship, and so much more.

In December 2022, Ms. Erica Hawthorne and the Unity J McGill Foundation largest donor visited Liberia to see firsthand the impact of the work we are attempting to do. She interviewed Dr Akiah Glay a professor at Cuttington University to get her take. Please join us on this mission to help eradicate poverty through education. The future generations of Liberians need our help.

We have a long-term goal to build a Library to help support our mission of eradicating poverty through poverty. Also, students need scholarships and we will continue to do so but access to modern educational materials is of the utmost importance and we need your help to realize this vision.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU to everyone who attended the 2nd Annual Redbowtie Gala! Everyone looked amazing! The folks who couldn't make it but donated, your generosity is greatly appreciated. You missed out on a phenomenal experience. We hope to see you next year!

We had a goal of $20,000 and we were able to raise $7,500. While we didn't achieve our raise target, we are grateful to everyone who contributed. Your generosity will impact peoples life.
