IT’S AUDITION TIME!!! ✨✨

Our DC NEXT 2026 Summer Choreographic Intensive runs from June 3rd - 26th on the campus of Georgia Tech in the DramaTech theater. Students ages 13-21 are invited to audition for this career development program for dancers and choreographers. Students receive training in ballet, modern, jazz and contemporary with guest teachers from across the country. Our nationally renowned faculty come to us from dance companies, Broadway and university dance programs.

To audition:
- Register for our February 9th audition at Dekalb School of the Arts (email [email protected], if you are not a student at DSA)
- Check if your school has an onsite audition
- Audition via video (email [email protected] for instructions)

Another DC NEXT Alum making a Broadway Debut ⭐️:
A HUGE Congratulations to on being cast in CATS: The Jellicle Ball, which opens for Broadway previews on March 18th at the Broadhurst Theatre! Bryce is also the Dance Captain for the show! And we are so proud!! ⭐️

If you are in NYC this Spring, be sure to get your tix…we are definitely going to go cheer Bryce on!

We are so incredibly proud of (DC Intern ‘25) for being selected by her school, to be the student panelist for Ailey at Spelman: Legacies in Motion. Kiara is a Senior dance major with and has the chance to offer her voice in a conversation with Artistic Director, . Professor (co-chair of Spelman College Department of Dance Performance and Choreography), Barbara Chirinos (Spelman College Artistic Director of the Center for Innovation and the Arts) and Angela Harris ( Executive Director and Ballet Professor at Spelman College) shared thoughts on joint institutional “goals and career pipelines for Black women dance artists, scholars, choreographers and leaders in the field.”
