Hello and good evening!!!
This is Madison, the shoe girl with my last post ever about my shoe collection. I know you are tired of me blowing up your news feed over the last few months.
My goal for this year was to collect 10,000 pairs of shoes. I met and far exceeded my goal by collecting 11,312 pairs of shoes and $712 in lieu of shoes ($1 = 1 pairs of shoes) for a grand total of 12,024 pairs of shoes!!! I cannot believe over the last two years that I have collected 18,275 pairs of shoes!! This is such an amazing way to end my senior year!
I want to give a huge shout out to Chuck and Karen Bruhn for donating their warehouse space for me to store all the shoes I have collected. I also want to thank all the local businesses that were willing to host boxes for drop off locations. I could not have accomplished this without each of you.

I also want to thank the wonderful individuals that donated money towards my expenses for boxes, tape, rubber bands and gas. You will never know how much this act of kindness meant to me and my family. Speaking of family, I want to give an enormous shout out to my parents and my boyfriend that have helped me with every aspect of this collection at any given time. Their commitment to ensure my success has been huge. Thank you mom, dad and Eli!!! Also, thank you to everyone that has asked about my mom and prayed for her over the last six years. Your prayers have helped her be strong in times when she was weak. Your kind words have turned bad days into good days. Your thoughtfulness towards my mom and I will never be forgotten.
With all that being said, I am beyond proud of my accomplishments and the love, support and new friendships I have made through this wonderful project. Again, thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all your love, support, and dedication to me so that I could reach my goal.
God bless you all!
