In the meantime, we encourage everyone to continue finding and building a strong community through support groups, especially Bible-based groups.💙

Having people in your life who will Pray with you, encourage you, support you, and walk alongside you as you heal can make a meaningful difference.
You do not have to go through recovery or life’s challenges alone. Keep seeking healthy community, keep growing, and keep moving forward in your healing journey. 🩵

Stay focused on your recovery, whether you have one day clean or 20+ years of sobriety. Recovery is a lifelong journey, and it can be easy to become sidetracked or believe that you are “good to go.” We have seen people relapse after years of sobriety because of “just one more drink,” spending time in bars, occasionally going to happy hour, or slowly returning to environments that can put their recovery at risk.💙

Never become complacent about your sobriety. Protect your recovery, know your triggers, maintain healthy boundaries, and continue surrounding yourself with people and environments that support the life you have worked so hard to build.🩵

If you are the family member or friend of someone struggling with addiction or someone who is in recovery, please remember this important truth: you need healing and support, too.💙

Addiction affects the entire family and support system. While a loved one may receive the treatment and tools they need to begin their recovery journey, returning to the same environment can sometimes create challenges. What may seem like a harmless choice to one person such as having “just one drink” or encouraging someone in recovery to join in, can be a serious trigger for someone who has struggled with addiction.🩵

This is why education, healthy boundaries, understanding, and healing are so important for everyone involved.💙

At Mark923 Broken & Saved Inc., we understand that helping individuals and families affected by addiction shouldn’t only happen when we have an open sober living home.🩵

That’s why our work began in March 2020, providing support to individuals and families across the United States who have been impacted by addiction. We believe recovery is about more than having a place to live, it’s about connection, encouragement, accountability, and walking alongside people through the journey.💙

Since March 2020, we have been committed to providing a safe, structured, and supportive environment for those pursuing recovery. Our vision has always been bigger than simply opening a sober living home. At Mark923 Broken & Saved Inc., we've been encouraged by some grant opportunities to partner with other nonprofits to make funding easier to obtain. While we appreciate those suggestions, we've made the decision to stay true to the Mission, Faith, and Values God has placed on our hearts.💙

We believe that every partnership should reflect the same biblical foundation and purpose that our nonprofit was built upon. Rather than compromise our vision, we are choosing to trust God to provide the resources needed to open our men's sober living home in His timing.🩵

Our commitment is to build this ministry with honesty, integrity, and unwavering Faith. We know the road isn't always easy, but we believe that staying faithful to God's calling is more important than taking shortcuts.💙

We truly appreciate every Prayer, every act of love, and every bit of support that has been given to our nonprofit. Your encouragement means more than words can express, and we are grateful to have people standing with us as we pursue the vision God has placed before us.🩵

There comes a point when love has to stop enabling and start fighting for healing.💙

If someone you love is battling addiction, you may feel trapped by fear, guilt, or the thought, "If I stop helping, they might end up homeless... or worse." Those fears are real, and they are heartbreaking. But enabling can unintentionally keep a person stuck in the very cycle that is destroying their life.

Sometimes the greatest act of love is allowing someone to face the consequences of their choices so they can recognize they need help. Recovery begins when denial ends, and hope begins when someone is given the opportunity to choose a different path.🩵

Your loved one is not beyond saving. Their story is not over. No matter how broken life may seem, healing is possible.💙
