We are so excited to celebrate one of our Seniors, James Bond Jr., as he takes part in the prestigious BUILD Leadership Program at Georgia Southern University! James was invited to spend a week on campus alongside 75 other incoming freshmen, where they are building lasting bonds, developing leadership skills, and participating in meaningful community service. We’re proud of his commitment to growth and service—way to go, James!

Congratulations to Nigel Ponder!

We’re thrilled to share that Nigel Ponder made the Dean’s List at SCAD during his first year — an incredible achievement! Even more inspiring is that he continues to give back to his community, carrying forward the values we work so hard to instill in our students.

What an amazing young man! We are truly honored to have been a part of his journey and can’t wait to see all that he continues to accomplish.

Yesterday, my family and I experienced the unimaginable— a devastating house fire. By the grace of God, we are all safe, including our pets, but our house is not. Many of the things we’ve built over the years, the memories, the comforts, our safe space— have been reduced to ashes. We are unsure of how to begin again or where to even start. We are overwhelmed, heartbroken, and still in shock.

I’m sharing this because so many of you have become like extended family to me through the bakery. If I seem distant or orders are delayed, please know it’s because we’re just trying to breathe through the devastation.

Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers. That alone means the world right now, and is truly needed.

With love,
Nicole, Kimani and the Silva girls

The bakery will be opening today at 1.

Kids Helping Community

We are a group of students that have completed community service projects for 6 years. Together we have realized how much we can make a change in our community. We are now in the process of making a full nonprofit around our community theme “ being the change” which will allow us to take part in other charity events, help other organization and complete our community service projects too!
