Today we honor the rich history, resilience, and culture of the First Nations and Indigenous peoples who were the original stewards of this land long before colonization. This day is a time to celebrate their contributions, traditions, and strength, while also recognizing the injustices they’ve endured and continue to fight against.

Write a prompt, deploy what v0 builds, and open it on Meta Quest, with no SDK to install. Developers on the web track did exactly that at our Meta Connect 2026 workshop, and now anyone can.

The Meta template for v0 by Vercel comes with WebXR scaffolding from the Immersive Web SDK already wired up. It's also ready for Meta VR Glasses, which arrive in spring 2027, with gaze and hand input built in. This is exactly why these partnerships matter. Students shouldn’t have to wait until new technology becomes mainstream to experience it. We want them testing it, asking questions, building with it, and thinking about the careers that will come from it.

And for BXC, this is just the beginning. We’re taking what we learn from opportunities like today and connecting it back to our STEM labs, workforce development, game development, and upcoming programs.

The future is already here. Our job is making sure our communities have a seat at the table.

Big day at BGSU for BESN X Community!

Today we’re here with Meta, giving BGSU students a hands-on look at the future of wearable technology including Meta wearable AI glasses and wristband technology.

This is exactly why these partnerships matter. Students shouldn’t have to wait until new technology becomes mainstream to experience it. We want them testing it, asking questions, building with it, and thinking about the careers that will come from it.
