Many experiencing homelessness have access to phones and internet services through wifi and hot spots!!
Please take cover inside a warming center, with a trusted friend/relative or shelter during this uncommonly cold weather!!

Due to the cold weather expected this week the City will open the Cold Weather Shelter/Warming Center at 450 Capital Avenue SE, Atlanta, GA 30312 at the following dates and times based on the current forecast (please keep in mind, times and activations are subject to change based on the weather forecast):
Tuesday*, February 2, 2021 – 7:00 pm – 11:00 am
Wednesday, February 3, 2021 – 10:00 pm – 9:00 am
Friday, February 5, 2021 – 11:00 pm – 9:00 am
Saturday, February 6, 2021 – 11:00 pm – 9:00 am
Sunday, February 7, 2021 – 9:00 pm – 10:00 am
These activation and deactivation times are subject to change dependent upon weather conditions.
* Please note: Overflow for Tuesday, February 2 will be at Central Park Recreation Center (400 Merritt Ave, Atlanta, GA 30308). Central Park will be on standby the remining activation times this week.
Activation transportation to the warming center will be provided at activation times (listed above). Deactivation transportation will be provided to Gateway Center at deactivation times (listed above).
City overflow should be utilized once existing shelter overflow has been exhausted. Please see attached flyer for shelter overflow information.

Happy Holidays family and friends,
In the coming months, it is our goal here at Dream Village to reach as many people that are in need each month. With your continued support we, as a whole, can create solutions to thrive.
This month I will be putting together care packages for the homeless that will include toiletries, socks, hat and snacks.
I’m asking each of you to donate $20 monthly to achieve this goal. You can do this via Cash App ($Dreamvillage).

Being that we are a 501-C3, any donation you provide will be eligible for a tax write off. Letter available upon request.
