Do you recognize our CORner Store Managers, Joel and Keekee?! 👋

We’ve leveled up this year with these two wonderful people co-managing the store. Joel gets everything in, and Keekee gets it ready to go out into the hands of our community. 💛

Before you shop, check our community guidelines (→ swipe to see them all):

✅ Open to current and former families, students and staff, and Carver Early College families and staff
✅ Staff: show your PBSA badge.
✅ Families and students: bring your student ID number or proof of enrollment
✅ 1 visit per week, with quantities that vary based on inventory
✅ Bring your own reusable bags or boxes if you can!

We’re in the business of spreading the love WIDELY across our beautiful community of students and families. And the best part? We’ll be here every week with new and plentiful goodies just for YOU! 🧡

📍 Questions? Check the pinned post for CS Guidelines anytime and don’t hesitate to reach out at any time.

We’re gotta be honest: this year didn’t start the way it looked. The truth? It started with a real struggle behind the scenes 💛

🫣 An HVAC outage over the summer left our CORner Store with mildew, mold, and pests, and our small team with a huge problem. So we scrubbed, cleared, sorted, and rebuilt, working long days, evenings, and weekends to get our space safe for our families.

And because our families always come first, we provided funds, grocery gift cards, and shelf-stable items while the store was closed, so a hard month for us didn’t become a harder one for them.

We reopened the last day of August, and 437 neighbors have already shopped the CORner Store for fresh, quality food.

The cleanup put us behind in time and resources, and we could really use your support to recover from the unexpected costs and keep showing up for every student, family, and community member who walks through our doors.

Even though our year started with a mess. It also started with 437 reasons to keep going!!
