This year brought its own set of new and unexpected challenges and obstacles to overcome, but as always, I am pleased and encouraged by God's steady hand of favor on The Truth Teller mission and the Eastlake Male Youth Initiative ministry. The perseverance, commitment and resilience of our students, parents, staff and supporters has never been more on display as we continue to forge ahead with pride and the promise of an even greater year in 2022!

This month, we will host our second (2nd) leadership session of the 2021-2022 program year. Eastlake Male Youth Initiative students and Ambassadors will visit the Tuskegee Airmen National Historic Site in Tuskegee, Alabama. The visit will also include the George Washington Carver Museum and the Tuskegee History Center. Students will learn and reflect on the legacy and success of the Tuskegee Airmen; George Washington Carver’s innovations in agricultural science; and, the ethical significance of the Tuskegee Syphilis Study. On October 9, we launched the third year of the Eastlake Male Youth Initiative! We had a great turnout with over 20 enthusiastic students, ambassadors and mentors onboard for our 2021-2022 program year. What a fantastic two-day weekend!

Eastlake Male Youth Initiative welcomed students at its two-day kickoff event for the 2021-2022 program year. Students were treated to an energetic and dynamic motivational speech from Mr. Gregory Hammons, CEO and founder of Forever Phase, LLC. Watch the video and be inspired!
