hereinafter and elsewhere referred to as “Ohuhu Women Association Inc, National” (dba), “OWA”; is an organization for Ohuhu women and by Ohuhu Women. An Ohuhu Woman is defined as a woman, married or unmarried, parents are from the Ohuhu community, married a person of Ohuhu indigene. Our Vision
To be a global women Association positioned to pilot the affairs of Ohuhu women; while creating a world i

n which all Ohuhu women determines the course of their lives, equipped to fulfill their unique purpose and reach their full potential. Our Mission
To provide the needed resources that will empower & equip Ohuhu women to be financially independent, improve their health and well-being, and influence decisions in their homes and community.
• Through Education & Training which includes financial support for full-tuition scholarships, leadership development, health services, and health education.
• By providing economic opportunities through skill building and knowledge advancement


Our Purpose
• To provide social, charitable, and educational activities for women of Ohuhu at large.
• To develop the potential of the membership for effective leadership and participation in Ohuhu affairs.
• To act on specific issues that impacts Ohuhu Community at large and
• To collaborate with other persons and Associations to achieve mutual goals

Our Core Values
Empowerment: We believe every Ohuhu woman is unique and powerful in her own right.
• We aim to support one another to achieve our aims by collectively using our skills, knowledge, finance that will empower our women to take the initiative and make decisions that positively impacts their family, immediate community and community at large. Respect: We believe every woman has the right to be treated with fairness and dignity.
• We trust each other implicitly, confident in the knowledge that we are all working towards the same goals.
• Equally, we hold each other responsible and accountable at all levels of the Association for the outcomes of our actions.

Join a Committee
Every member is expected to be part of a committee

Membership and Mobilization Committee:
• To sign up new members and to mobilize current members, in order to grow the association, as well as in unity and strength.
• Will recruit membership, establish rules and guidelines for OWA membership and the goal to expanding membership base everywhere. Welfare Committee:
• Engage with members and develop appropriate response and strategy accordingly (affairs like anniversary, wedding, death, health missions, etc.).
• Providing a bridge of understanding, support and guidance among members. Outreach / Fundraising Committee:
• Analyze the infrastructure in OWA and develop effective outreach & fund-raising plans and functional strategies.
• Develop modalities for raising adequate funds to meet the needs of the organization, and the projects and activities to be undertaken by OWA.
