PROJECT FOR SCHOOL: KITS AND SOCIAL SUPPORT FOR THE BEST STUDENTS
PROJECT TITLE: Collection or purchase of school supplies and financial support for the
best students of LA PUISSANCE DE DIEU (GOD’S STRENGTH) School located in
BAGUIDA Lomé-Togo (West Africa).
CONTEXT AND JUSTIFICATION OF THE PROJECT:
The free public school system in Togo has led to the removal of certain advantages
for teachers that the Togolese state cannot compensate, and which lead to recurrent strikes by teachers. These strikes affect the smooth running of classes in public schools and students consequentially lack the academic achievement level at the end of the year. Faced with this situation, parents often decide to send their children to private schools despite the high tuition fees. Because of these high tuition fees, thousands of students from primary to secondary, although better in their studies, end up abandoning their studies for lack of means and indulging in a life of delinquents. These students who are very awake from the primary

objective which is to promote the education and professional training of young people. This is especially applicable to young girls in the towns and villages of the country to seek goodwill to help them not only to encourage excellence, but also to avoid dropping out of
school. This is the purpose of this project, which will consist of providing the five (5) best students in each class with school supplies and covering the tuition fees of the first in each class.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The said project is planned to be conducted at the LA PUISSANCE DE DIEU school in BAGUIDA Lomé-Togo. The beneficiaries are the five (5) best students of both sexes of the twenty-five (25) classes of the said school. The project, therefore, consists of offering kits (namely notebooks, pens, bags, erasers, and mathematical sets) and financially
supporting the best to encourage excellence in schools. These beneficiary students must be regularly registered for the 2022-2023 school year. This project will be conducted in collaboration with the school LA PUISSANCE DE DIEU represented by the parents' committee and the first managers of the said school.
The second objective is to lighten the burden on families during the back-to-school period, which is often synonymous with expenses, especially in the context of the health
crisis linked to the coronavirus epidemic. Indeed, economic activity has been slowed down and many families working in the already precarious informal sector have been heavily affected by the restrictive measures put in place by the authorities to contain the number of
contaminations.

GENERAL OBJECTIVE OF THE PROJECT
The general objective of the project is to manage to give school kits and financial support to the best students of the LA PUISSANCE DE DIEU school to encourage them to
work for excellence for a promoting future.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
Give school kits to 125 students of the LA PUISSANCE DE DIEU school and twenty-five financial supports to the best class students
Encourage the students of the LA PUISSANCE DE DIEU school to work for excellence
Improve the level of the students at the school LA PUISSANCE DE DIEU through this project
EXPECTED RESULTS
In relation to the specific objectives, we expect the following results: school supplies are collected or purchased with financial donations received from goodwill, and school kits are distributed to the 125 students at the school LA PUISSANCE DE DIEU. Twenty-five (25) of the best of the classes are supported financially and the students are motivated by a culture of excellence to be among the best at the end of the year. The level of each student will be improved.

April 1 – August 30, 2022: Collection of financial donations and collection and/or purchase of school supplies
September 1 – 5, 2022: Constitution of school kits and preparation of awareness campaigns

BENEFICIARIES
