It is with heavy hearts that the Goddesses of the Beneficent Beta Chapter of Alpha Zeta Gamma Sorority, Incorporated share the news of the sudden passing of our Soror, Adrienne “Neicy” Osama, on August 10, 2025. Affectionately known as Soror Amelioration of the LeVeled Up Line, Neicy was a dedicated and loving sister whose presence will be deeply missed. She was a listening ear and a voice of reason to all who knew her.

Soror Osama was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend. Our hearts are especially with her family and line sisters during this difficult time. Her legacy will forever live on, and her love will always be felt.

The Beneficent Beta Chapter of Alpha Zeta Gamma Sorority, Incorporated would like to send our deepest condolences, prayers and love to our Sister Jamilla Clarke. Today we join her in celebrating the life of her mother, Vivian Elaine Gines-Tanner who passed on to glory on Thursday April 13, 2025. Services will be held at 10am in Denver, Colorado. We honor the joy and spirit of this amazing woman through the love and life we share with Soror Jamilla Clarke.

On behalf of the Beneficent Beta Chapter of Alpha Zeta Gamma Sorority, Inc., we are sad to announce the passing of Soror Danielle Green Polk. Affectionately known as Dani, Soror hAt KuhLe was the first member of the first line of Alpha Zeta Gamma Sorority, Inc. to cross the burning sands of Greekdom. Her constant support and love for all our members will be missed and can never be replaced. Dani worked constantly to promote and recruit women who needed a safe place to call home in the Greek world. There was no job too big or too small for her take on. Her life was a lesson in ministry and volunteerism for causes that spoke directly to her life journey and successes.

Please join us in celebrating her life with prayers and love for her son and family. The ceremony will be held in Elizabethtown, NC on Monday, January 20, 2025, at 11am. If you would like to attend, please message us for specifics. Details for where to send notices, cards, and donations will be forthcoming. A dedicated member to the life and legacy of Alpha Zeta Gamma Sorority, Incorporated! Forever in our hearts. We love you, Soror hAT KuLe “. 💗🤍💙

It is with a heavy heart that Alpha Zeta Gamma Sorority, Inc., announces the passing of our beloved sister, Soror, Danielle “hAT KuLe” Green Polk, the 1st member (The ACE) of the inaugural line of Alpha Zeta Gamma Sorority, Inc., who transitioned from this life to the next on Tuesday, January 14, 2025. Danielle was initiated into Alpha Zeta Gamma Sorority, Inc., through its Alpha Alpha Chapter founding line in the Fall of 2012 in Baltimore, Maryland.

Soror Green Polk was not only the first member of her line to cross the burning sands of AZG Inc, but she would go on to hold many roles & titles and help the organization grow in membership over the years. Danielle knew firsthand the trials and sometimes hard journeys that women experience when identifying as a bisexual woman in the world, and at times an even harder journey within the LGBTQ community. Because of her own journey, she devoted herself to helping women find their voice and live in their truth as a member of AZG, Inc.

Danielle’s spirit of hope, love, and willingness to be a helping hand to all those she encountered will be missed. Her dedication to the many communities that were an intersection of her life; the LGBQT+ community; African American community, single moms, moms of black boys, and her church community, to name a few. Danielle’s pride & joy came every day as she watched her son grow up and grow into a black boy/man with the same spirit and compassion she showed the world.

Alpha Zeta Gamma Sorority, Inc. sends our deepest sympathies to her son, DR, her pride and joy, as well as to her family, extended family, and friends. Though her physical light no longer burns here on earth, her legacy will forever shine through the work she did, the bonds she created, and the memories we all will hold forever.

We ask that you pray for each other and her family in this time of sorrow. Stay strong and lean on each other for comfort during this unimaginably painful time.
