Though its name underwent a brief transformation, its essence remained unchanged. Last week DHP met with Dr. Cornel West.
We didn’t talk about Philosphy, Theology or Politricks.
Instead, we spoke about The Dantes House Project and how his influences can help us achieve more.
Dr. West is part of a team of donors that donate their time, skill, profession and ideas to help The Dantes House Project become fully self sustainable.
We have a community that is coming together, helping people they may never meet, giving hope to children that may one day save a Nation and committed to supporting a healthy lifestyle for children who may never kick a proper football or wear an idol’s Cleat.

Classic 4-4-2 is the formation

1. Goalkeeper. Maxwell, the one who started it all.
2. Right back. Will play in the island of BANJUL
3. Left back signed, sealed and delivered to BAKAU
4. Center back. From Lambert High. Loaned to KITI.
5. Center back. Shipped to GUINEA BISSAU.
6. Defensive holding mid. Transfer to MANDUAR
7. Left Wing. Cut inside, use right foot to BRIKAMA
8. Attacking mid. Skipper FARATO & TUJERENG.
9. Striker. Scoring goals all the way to SANYANG.
10. False 9. Distributor. Women’s Leagues. GAMBIA.
11. Right wing. Dribble, sail, canoe, Atlantic Ocean, cross BARRA.

United States Soccer Federation hits again.
Just when we thought we won’t be able to ship it all, we have more.
Be careful what you wish for, they said.
Not is our wildest dreams, did we imagine this hobby could get this bog, touch this many lives and reach as many as 5000 children a dee years later.
We have a lot to ship and we know that you all out there will NOT let it all sit in this shed.
Let’s get on it and ship it all to the children who cannot wait to wear all of it.

Yet another “Good Problem.”
Today The Vineyards Kristen Heil Vineyard donated 393 balls of different sizes 3, 4 and 5.
So children of all ages will enjoy a ball of their own. Might be the first ball they ever own.

Lambert High kindly allowed us to park directly in front of the entrance to their gym, on the evening of their soccer banquet. With the trunk open and numerous messages disseminated to all soccer players regarding donations to The Dantes House Project, we successfully collected an array of equipment, including balls, ball bags, uniforms, shin guards, bibs, goalkeeper gloves, and tennis shoes. Today we travelled 105km to Bwiam.
I scored a goal here 28yrs ago that changed my life as a young player.
It gave me so much confidence and boosted my self esteem and a young man.

I wanted to visit again and give out some of the soccer donations in an effort to replicate that soccer magic to the youths of today.

The kids needed it, they were grateful and they a begging for more.
