✨1st ANNUAL DISCFEST ✨
Now that we’ve had a day to rest and recover, we want to share what a HUGE success our 1st Annual DiscFest was. The frisbee community showed up in such a huge way and we couldn’t be more grateful for the love shown this weekend. From games at First Call to Disc Dogs to the first ever tournament at The Green Mile — the support and participation was more than we could’ve ever hoped for. Thank you to everyone who was a part of this. We cannot wait to come back even better for the next DiscFest!

Another update for our 1st Annual DiscFest Tournament on Sunday: Each registered player will receive their choice of one custom-stamped discs or a tee shirt as their "player pack." We've got Gateway Wizards, Warlocks, Mystics, Elements, Assassins, and Wizbees to choose from, all with the official DiscFest logo. Members of the Athens Disc Alliance will also receive their tags following the tournament. If you have a Lifetime Foundational Membership, you will receive the gold "Founder" tag as well!

We hope to see lots of participants Sunday morning -- the Green Mile is looking fantastic!

Money raised from memberships will be put towards disc sport infrastructure in Athens County, starting with improvements to The Green Mile Disc Golf Course. Please come join the celebration of life for one of our founding members at his favorite course this Saturday! Details below:

Phil Leuck’s Athens Memorial

Saturday, March 28 at 1pm at Karmageddon Disc Golf Course. Join us to throw a round, walk the course, or simply sit and share stories.

Space is limited, so please carpool when possible. Additional parking will be available at Little Fish Brewery’s lower parking lot, with rides to the course available.

Please print out photos you have of Phil for a memorial photo book.

Bring chairs and drinks for yourselves, a small snackish potluck item and cards if you’d like to play Euchre. We will provide a keg of Phil’s favorite beer from Devil’s Kettle.

Directions: Karmageddon is located on Armitage Rd, Athens OH. Turn onto Armitage by the sign for Little Fish Brewery and continue going until you see the disc course - it’s about 2-3 miles.
