✨CHRISTY’S WHY✨

Hey! My name is Christy Chambers, and I’m an Animal Bioscience major on the pre-vet track. I joined Sigma Alpha because I wanted to find a close-knit group of women who shared similar values and a love for agriculture. Since joining, I’ve found such a supportive and welcoming group, and I’m so thankful to be a part of it.

My favorite EA event has been Big/Little Reveal because it was so much fun guessing who my Big was and getting to know her afterward. I’m so grateful for Sigma Alpha and the friendships it has given me!

✨ANYA’S WHY✨

Hey y’all!! My name is Anya Singhal and I’m an Avian Biology, Biological Science and Biomedical Physiology triple major! I did recruitment with Sigma Alpha this past Spring semester and I’ve truly enjoyed my time here greatly! It’s impacted me so much in many ways! I’ve made so many friends and connections and I’ve even gotten a chance to further my leadership skills in different positions! This sorority has allowed me to grow socially and professionally and I hope it does the same for anyone looking to join! One of my favorite events is Formal as it’s a chill and fun social night where we get the chance to mingle and get to know our fellow sisters!

Hey! My name is Isabelle Morissette. I’m a second year pre-vet Wildlife Science major with a minor in Avian Biology and Certificate in OneHealth. Coming from out of state and knowing nobody at UGA, I joined EA to meet girls who have similar career aspirations and interests as me. It’s great having a group of girls that you can rely on for advice and support! My favorite event so far has been our Pie A Sister fundraiser, benefitting Ag in the Classroom. Hi y’all! My name is Braelynn Hartley, and I am an Avian Biology, Biological Sciences, and Poultry Science triple major! I joined Sigma Alpha in Fall of 2025, and it has truly been the best decision of my college career!
