AAC Spike Night is Tuesday! 🏃🏃🏼‍♀️🍕

We’re excited to partner with Ohio Valley Running Co. for AAC Spike Night on Tuesday, August 18th from 4–8 PM.

Local middle and high school cross country athletes can receive 25% off trainers and spikes during the event.

AAC will be providing pizza and snacks, so come out, grab a bite, and get ready for the upcoming cross country season!

What an incredible day! 💚🏃‍♀️

Athens Athletics Club was SO excited to host the Wildwood Running Camp at Ohio University, welcoming nearly 150 female cross country athletes for a day focused on learning, growth, and community.

Athletes participated in sessions on mindset, RED-S awareness, nutrition, movement, injury prevention, mobility, and more. A huge thank you to our presenters Melissa Lodge, PhD, Danielle Beardsley, Dan Iverson, Jessica Arquette, and the amazing Ohio University Physical Therapy students (OHIO Physical Therapy) who led hands-on movement and mobility clinics and helped make the day such a success.

Watching so many young runners invest in their health, performance, and love for the sport was inspiring. We can’t wait to see what these athletes accomplish this season!

Big thanks to the Ohio University Department of Physical Therapy for supporting the Wildwood Running Hometown event in Athens!

This workshop will help young, female athletes better understand their bodies and how to stay strong and healthy throughout their training. It will also help them be more confident teammates and leaders amongst their peers.
