is a state-wide cultural resource survey program sponsored by the Georgia Transmission Corporation (GTC) in partnership with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, Historic Preservation Division (GA SHPO). is housed at the Center for Community Design & Preservation (CCDP) at the College of Environment + Design at the University of Georgia. was created to help document historic resrouces thro

ughout the state facilitating their preservation. Cultural resource survey is the first step in the preservation planning process. has successfully completed over 10 years of survey, adding over 14,000 resources to Georgia's Natural, Archaeological, and Historic GIS (GNAHRGIS) inventory. also partners with local governments, not-for-profit organizations, neighborhood and downtown associations, and a variety of state agencies to conduct surveys.
