OSTARA RITUAL SATURDAY
River Temple will hold its Spring Equinox/ Ostara Ritual on Saturday, March 21 at the Hill, beginning at approximately 4 pm. As such, there will be no meeting of Athens Area Pagans on Saturday at Rabbit Hole. Athens Area Pagans will be holding its annual business meeting on Saturday, Feb. 28, so there will be no regular meeting at Rabbit Hole Studios. Any registered member is invited to attend the business meeting, but please log into Element for details.

Athens Area Pagans will be marching (and driving our van) in the Martin Luther King Jr. Birthday Parade in downtown Athens on Monday, Jan. 19 and we would welcome anyone who would like to join us. The parade will beginning 230 pm in front of Creature Comforts on Hancock Street and will begin at 3 pm. We will be number 12 in the line. Look for a white Dodge mini-van. Come out and join us.

If anyone is planning to come to our regular 5 PM meeting, one of us will be here briefly at five. But we’re not planning to stay very long. We will reconvene after 9 PM at the hill for our solstice celebration.

Why Our Website is Down
If you've tried to visit our Athens Area Pagans website -- athensareapagans.org -- recently, you will see that is not working. Sometime ago, the site was attacked by hackers. As far as we can tell, they did not get any critical information and we don't really store any sensitive data on the website. However, the attack broke the site and bringing it back on line safely is complicated. Our resident tech witch has been buried with work at her real job and simply hasn't been able to address the problem. We trust this will get fixed soon, but ask patience.

The River Temple will hold Samhain Ritual at The Hill on Friday, Oct. 31. Doors open at 7:30 pm. The ritual will begin after 8 pm, possibly a bit later. This will be quite informal. Bring snacks or drinks for yourself or share if you will. Directions and other information is available on our private cloud system for members. If you’re not a member and are interested in attending, send a direct message, or register at athensareapagans.org, by clicking on “become a member.”
