Boys and Girls Clubs of Athens Boys & Girls Clubs of Athens provide a clean, healthy, and safe environment for youth aged 6 to 18. The Boys & Girls Club is an asset to the Athens community.

We provide the latest proven youth development programs with all activities supervised by trained professional staff members and dedicated volunteers. The staff works hard to provide positive experiences for youth on a daily basis. Bus routes directly from all the schools in the Athens area provide opportunities for kids to attend regularly. It gives the youth of Athens a place to play, work and l

earn. We are proud of each of our programs! Every child that enters our doors has the opportunity to participate in the following programs which will certainly impact them forever: Character & Leadership development, Education & Career development, the Arts, Health & Life skills, and Summer Camps. The cost to join the club is very affordable and no child is turned away because of the inability to pay. The Club is open to youth attending school, age six to eighteen.

Today, our Boys & Girls Club youth had an exciting opportunity to visit University of Georgia! 🎓✨

During their visit, students explored the campus, learned about college life, and discovered the many academic and career opportunities available to them. Experiences like these inspire our youth to dream big, set goals, and envision themselves pursuing higher education in the future.

We are grateful for the opportunity to expose our young people to new possibilities and help them build confidence in their journey toward success. The future is bright! 💙

Our Boys & Girls Club youth had an amazing opportunity to visit Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center! 🏥✨

This experience allowed our youth to explore healthcare careers, learn about the important work being done in our community, and gain valuable insight into the many opportunities available in the medical field. We are grateful for the warm welcome, education, and inspiration provided to our students.

Great futures start here. BGCA Youthforce 1st college tour of the Summer visits Georgia Tech. BGCA youth had a great time and learned about enrollment and the application process. BGCA Summer Camp includes fun, programming, field trips college visits and more. Join the fun!

Today, our Boys & Girls Club teens had an amazing opportunity to give back to the community by volunteering at the Athens Food Bank. They worked hard serving others and learned the importance of compassion, teamwork, and community service. The group also visited the Lyndon House Arts Center, where they explored local art, history, and creativity. Experiences like these help our youth grow into caring, responsible, and engaged leaders. We are proud of their dedication to making a difference in Athens!
