Lewis and Clark River

A beautiful, quiet place for a hike, a float on the river, or a place to cast a line. A little slice of rural life not too far from town. But far enough that you know you can slow down and connect to the beauty of nature around you. We appreciate the history of the explorers for whom the river is named. Fort Clatsop National Park is nearby with miles of trails away from the hustle and bustle of town. You may smell manure from a nearby dairy, hear a rooster crowing day and night, and see deer and elk from your vehicle as you wind your way through the valley. You’ll encounter log trucks year round, hay equipment in the summer and bicyclists always in this part of the county road system. Go slow and enjoy the scenery! We’re not in a hurry out here. This is rural Clatsop County.
