Hey gang! Drum roll please! We can finally introduce to you our newest board member that joined our cause this summer to fill Jeff's seat. We appreciate everything Jeff did for us and he will always remain a friend of the BWR. Enjoy retirement Jeff!

Here is a message from Roger 😀 :
I grew up in the Denver Area with three horses of my own. I knew early on the therapeutic value of horses. We went camping with them and my dad, as a Sheriff’s Jeep Patrol volunteer, had close friends on the Sheriff’s Mounted Rescue volunteers, so lots of horsing around in my early years. I joined the Marine Corps and ended up with 5 years of active duty and 20 reserve, retiring as a Chief Warrant Officer 3, retiring in 2000. Being in IT, I’ve been able to work remotely since 2009 and performing Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity since 2005. I currently work in IT for a company in San Diego as the company’s only Resiliency Engineer, mostly planning for and testing the Disaster Recovery capabilities of systems and applications. I also manage the shutdown of our data centers to perform maintenance and I’m also the Business Continuity person. I have professional certifications of CBCP & AMBCI helping me with the appropriate knowledge of being resilient and prepared for Disaster. I’ve been a resident of Washington for 44 years and love eastern Washington, the Palouse in particular. I love visiting Matthew & Lacy at the BWR and am very supportive of their efforts with Veterans. I’m thrilled to be on the Board of Directors and look forward to contributing and serving when and where needed.
