Ashland Lions at Convention Pre Events and Day of Recap
We thank all club members who were able to participate.
During the festivities of the 2026 District 36E Convention week & weekend we had a roar of a good time. 3/26-28/2026
Highlights of the Ashland Lions Club participation in this yearly event;

Southern Oregon Lions Sight and Hearing Center eyeglass sorting day. Visiting guests and dignitaries assisted with this.

Ashland Peace Meals ran by Southern Oregon Jobs with Justice and supported by the Ashland Lions Club. Visiting guests and dignitaries assisted with this.
Our very own Lions Jason and Vanessa were awarded the Lions International Presidents Certificate of Appreciation for all of their amazing community work (this is the 4th highest honor in all of Lions).

District Council meeting in Merrill Oregon followed by a Magic Yarn Project workshop.
Visiting Dignitary PID Lion Pat Vannett Q & A in Klamath Falls.

The big day in Dorris….
We thank the Dorris Lions Club for hosting and all the District Leadership who organized the events.
A great day of training, fellowship, food and fun.
We thank Lions Jerry, Denise, Shari, Jeanie, Nancy, and JonMichael for being able to attend.
Lion Maggie assembled an amazing raffle basket that ended up being won by Lion Shari.
After four judges reviewing and reading our club was awarded the following;
Best Instagram Page, Bulletin, Community Partnership.
Lion Jeanie was highlighted for her drive and community service.
awards that will be sent up to the Multiple District Awards level in May.
We thank Lion Jerry for representing during the Parade of Checks for OLSHF.
Lions Denise, Shari and JonMichael being our voting delegates.
Lion Jerry for being our Voting Trustee.
Lion Nancy for leadership as District Governor.
Lion JonMichael for his work as District Awards Chair.

4/18/2026 Park Clean Up

Session 1 of the Ashland Oregon Lions Club environmental project showed great results due to the hardy efforts of Lion Nancy Patzer and friend Doug and Lion Linda Thomas working together on the Uma while Lions Maggie Landers and Don Johnson dug and pulled blackberry brambles and Hemlock.

The Ashland Lions Club
Meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month during the Spring, Fall and Winter seasons at 6:30pm at Puerto Mazatlan Restaurant, 1209 Siskiyou Blvd, Ashland, Oregon, 97520
Except for we cancel the 4th Tuesday meeting in December due to that being Christmas week.

During the summer we meet on a rotating schedule around the area. (Call for details)
