Well, a lot has happened since our last post. Things got a little crazy there for a while!🥴 But, as of this past Tuesday evening, Sarah’s place is “officially” finished!! It has been a long 21 months since we first met Sarah. There’s been joy, tears, frustrations, and even thoughts of failure! But in the end God has proven Himself faithful! All praise and glory go to Him! 🙌🙌🙌 And a HUGE, HUGE, HUGE Thank you to EVERYONE Who helped us love Sarah and her kids like Jesus loves us! We are so thankful to be used by Him to show this family the love of God!

We are in need of some appliance repair expertise! Sarah was donated a whirlpool High Efficiency washing machine that we believe is less than two years old, and has been lightly used. However it has been in storage for nearly a year. When we started it up, it filled with water and began to go through the wash cycle. The problem is, when it gets to the rinse cycle, it starts to cycle, but then shuts off and the rinse light begins flashing. We’ve checked all the water supply and drain lines. Everything checks out okay. We’ve also tried to do the suggested control resets, but the machine will not go into diagnostic mode. I’m thinking the control module is bad, but I would love to have someone with appliance repair experience take a look at it before we try to replace parts. WE NOW HAVE EVERYTHING WE REQUESTED!🙏🏻
We were able to get most of Sarah’s belongings out of storage and into her house this morning. We had a great crew! However, we’ve had a lot of inquiries about what Sarah and her family still need for their home. As of now, they still need an oven and a microwave. A girls bed with a mattress, two twin size mattresses and a queen size bed with a mattress. Please call pastor Travis for more info at: 419-466-8487

Due to circumstances beyond our control, we weren’t able to get Sarah and her kids moved into their new home before Christmas. We are praying it won’t be too much longer before they can call Sarah’s Place “home”! Thank you to EVERYONE who has volunteered and/or donated money to help make Sarah’s Place a reality!🙏🏻🙏🏻

This may not look like much to most people, but this is a huge day for Sarah’s Place! We have the sewer line and the waterline hooked up and cleared by the inspector! That makes us that much closer to making Sarah‘s place a completed mission! The only thing that stands in the way of us getting this family into this home before Christmas is the money! If everyone of our followers would give just $40 (40x166=$6,640) we could make this happen! Thank you in advance, to all our faithfully-generous partners in ministry!🙏🏻
