Dear Community,

Thank you so much for volunteering during this time. You all are the life-blood of these efforts, and we are so grateful for you.

The Bike Brigade is excited to announce that we are partnering with the Rogue Volunteer Initiative (link to the group and their forms below) to join forces in volunteer coordination efforts. This means that we’ll be merging our volunteer lists for the sake of more effective volunteering and support of the Almeda fire relief & recovery efforts.

This is going to make your life as a volunteer easier. New volunteers can sign up to be notified of both the Bike Brigade and RVI volunteer efforts via the same form, and notifications will go out to everyone at once.

You also have a choice in this matter. If you are one of the wonderful folks that has already signed up to be a part of the Bike Brigade, and would like to opt out of being merged into the Rogue Volunteer Initiative list, please let us know by 5pm Monday. We won’t be merging the lists until that time.

We’re so glad to be working together with our community through the Rogue Volunteer Initiative. The outpouring of support from our community to help with relief, recovery and rebuild after these devastating fires is truly amazing. Thank you for contributing your time and energy to these efforts!

In gratitude & solidarity,
Dani & the Bike Brigade volunteer coordination team

Hello Community,

Thank You so much for the love and fervent support for our cause.

Isn’t it amazing what we can do when we band together for a greater cause?

Yesterday we had the pleasure of delivering a couple of bikes to some kiddos who lost their homes in the fire.

It took several community members to connect the dots that allowed us to fulfill their need.

First, their family friend who reached out to us to see if we could locate bikes for them.

Second, Tyler who generously offered both bikes and even contacted the family to make sure that he provided them with bikes appropriate for their skill levels.

Third, a volunteer who drove to Talent to pick up the bikes and then delivered them to the kids in Medford.

This is what community is all about...working together to improve lives with direct acts of support and kindness!

We feel humbled and honored to be a part of this wonderful movement of selfless acts of love and generosity.

The kids where beyond the moon excited and grateful to receive the bikes. Their innocent joy meant everything to us!

Hello community,

We've created this page to not only as a space for stories of the Ashland Bike Brigade to be shared, but also to amplify messages that are going out via our alert system, which you can sign up for here (no bike required!): https://forms.gle/3f6FR57MXNppskZn8

We're so grateful for all that have shown up to volunteer, to spread the word, and for how each of you are showing up and amplifying our efforts in your own unique way. We are truly amazed and in awe of the way our community is coming together.

Keep an eye out here for post that will be made/shared of different volunteer opportunities around the valley, along with stories and updates from the Bike Brigade.

In solidarity & so much love,
Dani, Sarah, Donnie, & the Bike Brigade Crew
