Such a fantastic day for students and educators across Hanover 🎉 The Arts & Sciences Festival is a HUGE celebration of the accomplishments of students at every level across Hanover County Public Schools. There is a new resident in town, and they are all heart. 😍

We are delighted to invite you to the official debut of Hanover’s newest LOVE sign. This isn't just any sign—it’s a labor of love (and a bit of Hanover to-"Mater" magic) dreamed up by the Hanover 250th Commission and brought to life by hundreds of our talented middle and high school students.

The 16ft x 4ft LOVE sign is covered with a mosaic of tiles, front and back. Inspired by the motto E Pluribus Unum ("Out of many, one"), this piece reflects our Hanover community and our greater nation — a beautiful tapestry of unique pieces uniting to form a powerful whole.

🎉JOIN US NEXT TUESDAY, MARCH 3 AT 4:30 AT PHHS! After months of hard work from many HCPS student artists and educators, we are ready to pull back the curtain and share this masterpiece with the community.

Always fun to have a reason to bring out the "big check" 😁💲 Congratulations to a wonderful and dedicated Patrick Henry High School educator with over 16 years of service with HCPS, Mrs. Elizabeth Markwood!! It was a pleasure to join Superintendent Dr. Lisa Pennycuff, PH and division leaders to be part of the surprise crew interrupting her class for this special recognition. Supporting our educators with professional learning opportunities that impact their classrooms and fuel their passions are key - HEF is proud to partner with our schools on this initiative.
