Lillie Update from the family:

There’s been another bump in the road for our girl and her parents.

Last night, she started running fever, vomiting, and having some new symptoms, so Ashlyn and Christian called the hematologist for advisement (they didn’t let Lillie talk to him, but the pic from her playing with toys this week was too perfect not to use 🙃)

They advised them to go to the ER to test her Neutrophil levels to determine if this was a side effect of the medicine or a levels issue. After a blood test, it was determined that Lillie’s levels had yet again plummeted, so they were transferred back to Pensacola overnight and admitted in the morning hours.

Here are our specific prayer requests:

•that Lillie will stay in good spirits because she doesn’t love the IV and cords

•that answers will be quick and easy solutions will come for these setbacks

•that Christian & Ashlyn get to bring Lillie home and can return to work so the financial worry will begin to lessen

Photos will be judged by pageant judges. Color or black and white.
Deadline will be November 12th. Photos will be judged on November 13th!

Family update on Lillie:

Update: her levels dropped again so we are being transported back to Pensacola.

Original: Asking for urgent prayers for our Lillie, she started a new dose of medication today and tonight she spiked a fever and threw up, they are thinking it could just be side effects again but want to be sure so we are on the way to Southeast to get a blood count to make sure her Neutrophil count didn’t drop.

Lillie Update: 🏠🏡🏘️

Lillie is headed home!! But first a little stop at Buc-ees for gas and a new hat and toy!

Lillie will take her meds for treatment once daily unless level checks require more doses. She will have a blood draw twice a week and her parents will talk with the Hematologist after each to discuss the levels and maintenance dosages needed. They will travel back to Pensacola once a month to meet in person with the team and check Lillie’s levels and progress. We are still waiting a final diagnosis and the results of the genetic testing from the bone marrow biopsy.

Specific prayers for the family:

That the medicine gets delivered on time and without issue as it is not available locally

That Lillie gets used to daily injections and it gets easier on momma and daddy to give them

That Ashlyn & Christian transition back to work mode smoothly on Friday

That this family can quickly recover from this bump in the road medically and financially and continue back to work and home building while Lillie rides Paw Paw’s golf cart daily!

Lillie Update:

Lillie’s neutrophil levels finally rose yesterday after 2 doses of the meds! We are so excited to see this rise, and pray that they will continue to stay up!! Todays level was 3040, so we are loving the trend!

We are hopeful that the medical team is honing in on dosages and frequencies that work to keep our girl’s levels in the normal range.

We did receive news last night that the insurance company is not going to make obtaining this MEDICALLY NECESSARY MEDICINE FOR LILLIE easy. We are hopeful that we can get this medicine approved quickly and easily as it is the only medicine that treats Lillie’s disorder.

Please pray specifically that Lillie’s parents don’t have to go down the medical red tape rabbit hole to get our baby what she needs and that when it’s time to come home, the medicine is approved and ready for delivery to our girl without her parents having to pay out of pocket for this extremely needed but expensive medicine.

Our sweet Baby Miss Ashford. Update from the family. We are also doing an online photogenic fundraiser.
Hospital Day 10:
Lillies Neutrophil count went back to 0. The Hematologist is pretty confident that her numbers will spike any day now, we were expecting a big jump today since her count was 630 yesterday but unfortunately it did not.
Very discouraging news but I know God has a plan in action and all we can do is wait it out. We will be here for atleast another 48 hours pending that her Neutrophil count jumps over 1000. We are still waiting on her genetics testing but will be atleast 4-6 weeks to try and pinpoint if she has this certain gene mutation to have a definitive diagnosis of Severe Congenital Neutropenia. Her condition is super rare and so far this is the only medication to treat her illness so please keep praying for our Lillie for a huge jump in her numbers and her body to keep a stable amount and to hopefully go home soon, this is has truly been a rough few weeks.
