Ladies Climbing Coalition - Asheville The Ladies Climbing Coalition is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. We are dedicated to breaking down barriers to entry - access, opportunity, cost.

Our mission is to connect and empower all women and non-binary folx who are comfortable in spaces that center the experiences of women through climbing. We strive to build community and foster positivity, inspiration, motivation, and growth. We host meetups at gyms and crags across the United States and abroad, providing a safe and inviting space for women and non-binary people to connect with others and enjoy climbing. We welcome EVERYONE who falls under the “umbrella” of identifying as a women or non-binary person. You belong here!

Turns out our preferred form of stress relief involves climbing shoes, chalky hands, questionable decisions on the wall, and friends yelling “YOU GOT THIS!” from below. 😂💪

A little look back before we climb forward… 🧗‍♀️💛

Last month was full of sends, falls, laughs, encouragement, and climbers cheering each other on. THIS is what LCC meet-ups are all about. 🙌

And now we’re ready to do it all over again!

And the community doesn’t stop when the meet-up ends! We have Slack + WhatsApp groups where members find climbing buddies, plan gym sessions, organize outdoor days, and keep the stoke going between events.

Our Asheville / WNC chapter meets on the last Wednesday of every month at Cultivate Climbing, but the fun doesn’t stop there! We stay connected through our online community where we plan extra gym sessions, outdoor climbing adventures, and other meet-ups throughout the month.

We came. We climbed. We cheered each other on. We celebrated the sends, embraced the falls, and left stronger than we arrived.

That’s what the Ladies Climbing Coalition is all about.

LCC exists to connect and empower women and non-binary folks who are comfortable in spaces that center the experiences of women through climbing. Together, we’re breaking down barriers to access, opportunity, and cost while building something even bigger—a supportive community filled with encouragement, inspiration, growth, and friendship.
