Maybe this picture of his feet standing in an ocean on the other side of the world does not look exactly "beautiful" 😄, but the Gospel message he brings will be the most true and beautiful thing they have ever heard.

We are busy working on a new Gospel booklet for a frontier people-group in South Asia per their request, complete with translation into their heart language and custom illustrations that reflect their distinct and treasured culture. The Greatest Story Ever is about sacrificial Love for all people and all cultures!

HURRICANE HELENE UPDATE:

During the past few months since our area was devastated by Hurricane Helene, TruthAction has been very busy and blessed to be able to help Hurricane Helene survivors because of those who gave to TruthAction's WNC Helene Recovery fund! Because of you, we were able to...

~ deliver & distribute multiple loads of emergency food and supplies through the disaster relief site we worked at during the most crucial weeks after the disaster
~ purchase & deliver propane and buddy heaters to those living in damaged homes, campers, and tents without any other source of heat during freezing winter weather
~ answer cries for help with hotel bills for mothers with young children before they were turned out into the bitter cold with nowhere else to go (until move-in dates of permanent housing that has been secured)
~ purchase & deliver roofing material & supplies to those needing to repair damaged homes
~ replace specialized tools that were washed away in flood waters so that fathers can continue providing for their families
~ provide much-needed baby/nursery items for expectant families who have lost everything in time for the arrival of their precious newborn babies this winter- such a bright spot of joy in the midst of disaster!

Update 10/10: U.S. mail is now being delivered in the mountains (where roads are open) and we were able to receive mail at the TruthAction P.O. Box this week! (week 2 since Helene)

We are under a state of emergency due to the destruction from Helene and not able to receive mail at this time. Please consider sending your donation online through our website at www.truthaction.com instead of sending through the mail so that it will be received as soon as possible. Cell service is either non-existent or sporatic.

Now that we are on our feet after the storm, we are able to help others in WNC- similar to the emergency instructions on a plane when told to put your own oxygen mask on first before assisting others. Please pray and give if the Lord guides you to TruthAction so that we can be the hands and feet for your heart here on the frontlines - His love in action!

Great turnout for TruthAction's Assembly Party yesterday! We could not do this ministry without these amazing volunteers who helped us assemble 313 more waterproof Gospel booklets that are custom-made just for an unreached people group in Asia. Thank you to all who were there!
