Exhibition Opening This Saturday! – “Portraits of Uganda” 🇺🇬✨We are thrilled to announce the opening of our newest exhibition, “Portraits of Uganda,” at the World Bridge Center, 62 Wall Street, Asheville this Saturday, December 6, 2pm-5pm.
This powerful exhibition will run through March 27, 2026, and we invite you to join us for the opening or stop by anytime for a visual journey that transports you to Uganda.

Whether you’re already connected to Uganda or simply curious, this exhibition is an invitation to engage, and experience the humanity behind the portraits.

From Kampala to New Hampshire, the rhythms traveled far but landed right at home.
Thanks to Percussion Discussion Africa who brought the joy of Ugandan drumming to an assisted living community—sparking laughter, movement, and connection in a place where live music experiences are rare.
This is our mission in action: transforming lives and bringing joy to communities with limited access to global arts.

Meet Jasmine. She grew up at .org.kampala in Uganda, where music and community became her safe haven. At just 7 years old, she joined Dance of Hope , a platform that gave her the chance to dream beyond the walls of her childhood.
Through the support of the World Bridge Foundation Jasmine’s dreams didn’t just stay dreams — they took flight. She’s traveled the world inspiring countless children.
Today, as young teenager, Jasmine leads workshops in elementary schools, teaching music and dance, and showing young students that their own dreams can come true too.
From the slums of Kampala to classrooms across the globe, her journey proves what’s possible when children are given the tools, the opportunities, and the belief that their voice matters.
