Women's March Asbury Park It is this commitment that will sustain our spirits and harden our resolve on the long march ahead.

Present: After organizing a January 21st sister march for 6,000 people in their hometown of Asbury Park, NJ in just 7 days, this collective of 4 women has decided to "march on" in their quest for equality, women's rights, human rights and social justice. We will continue to be a well of positivity, unity and empowerment by teaming up with those on the front lines in the fight for social justice an

d organizing our own events in adherence to the agreements of the movement. Past: On January 21, 2017 we will proudly join the International community to march in support of unification and equality while helping to solidify the message that women's rights are human rights. This march is a sister event being held in solidarity with the Women's March on Washington.

Thank you to everyone who came out to No Kings AP Rally/ Peaceful Protest yesterday to defend Democracy and lift each other up! This Community never disappoints, but in the pouring rain, the crowd held, emoted, and endlessly inspired!
Thank you to our powerhouse committee of locals who volunteered their time and energy planning every day for the past few weeks and who run the rally seamlessly yesterday.
Thank you to our incredible speakers and talented performers who had the courage to stand up and use their gifts of words, music, and inspiration to give us hope and courage.
Thank you to all of the organizations that came out today to represent and be resources for those who need help.
Thank you to artist George Bates for his interactive public art project that provided us with the on site writing therapy so many of us needed!
Thank you to the City of Asbury Park Police, City Hall, EMS and DPW for supporting our right to assemble, rally and have our voices be heard in these contentious times.
