Great opportunity!!!

What's working about the housing options near transit centers in Arvada? What's missing?

The City is working with DRCOG to understand the housing needs near light rail and high-traffic bus stations in town. On our way to promoting more diverse and sustainable housing options, we want to hear from you!

The project team will be out at different transition stations around town on February 9 and 10 gathering feedback as we kick off this project. Stop by on your commute and share your perspective!

Help us support new apartments and townhomes in West Arvada!

Next week on Wednesday, January 21st, Arvada Planning Commission will hear details on a project to build 384 apartments and 51 townhomes in West Arvada, bringing a variety of rental and ownership options to working families in an area where they are extremely limited.

Thank you Wheat Ridge City Council for unanimously approving 200 affordable homes at the Arvada Ridge G Line Station!

We appreciate the hard work of Foothills Regional Housing in bringing this great mix of unit sizes and price points to meet the needs of everyday folks in Wheat Ridge and Arvada.

Loved hearing Justine's journey from NIMBY to YIMBY!

🏘️ Thank you Arvada City Council for approving new homes in Allendale! After a thoughtful 3+ hour deliberation, we are excited to see 57 new homes be built in this amazing area along our vibrant Ralston corridor.

We support zoning and infill that provide meaningful housing choices and opportunities for all kinds of people and families in Arvada. This project is one step of many in the right direction!

Thank you again Mayor Lauren and councilmembers Sharon for Arvada, Bob Fifer, John Marriott Arvada City Council, and Brad Rupert for your thoughtful deliberation and discussion over the 3+ hour hearing.

YIMBY Arvada is proud to endorse Mike Griffith for Arvada City Council At-Large!

Mike believes that housing "should reflect the needs within the community and that all levels of economic mobility should have a respective housing option. A wide range of housing types support a diverse working population."

On his own personal experiences, he says that "despite all of the development activity over the last 10 years, our modest 1-bathroom home purchased in 2014 was half the cost of the cheapest property currently for sale in Arvada today. This is an unsustainable problem that requires leadership and policy changes to address."
