MRBO wants to help your school reduce its single-use plastic! Let’s organize a Plastic Free Lunch Day or start talking about reusable options for the cafeteria.

A Plastic Free Lunch Day is a simple one-day commitment and can include one or many actions to reduce plastic. Here are some examples:

offer straws and utensils by request only
use paper instead of plastic plates
use paper instead of plastic bowls
serve condiments in bulk instead of individual packets
serve food in bulk with tongs or spoons instead of individually wrapped
wrap food in aluminum foil instead of plastic wrap
place food and condiments directly on tray instead of in bowls
use any reusables you have in storage!
