What an incredible night celebrating another successful year of Arp FFA at our 2026 End of Year Banquet. We are thankful for the students, parents, supporters, buyers, volunteers, and community members who came together to help make the evening so special as we recognized the accomplishments and successes of our students throughout the year.
As we close out another incredible year for Arp FFA, we want to take a moment to reflect on just how blessed our students and program have been through the support of this amazing community.
The 2025 Arp FFA Booster Club Chili Supper & Auction was one of the most successful events in our history, and because of your generosity, we were able to pour those blessings directly back into our students and agricultural education program.
From sponsoring the BBQ dinner at our banquet to supporting student projects and scholarships, your support continues to make a lasting impact on the lives of Arp FFA members.
One area we are especially proud of this year was our support of students who participated in the Smith County Junior Livestock Show. Every Arp FFA member with an entry in the show received a $150 Add-On check from the Arp FFA Booster Club. In total, the Booster Club was able to provide $4,350 in direct support to our exhibitors — the largest amount we have ever been able to give back in this way.

We were also honored to present the 2026 “For Outstanding Service In Our AG Community” Award to Melinda Pless Staples for her years of faithful dedication, generosity, and unwavering support of Arp FFA and agricultural education. We are truly thankful for everything she continues to do for our students and community.
Finally, because of the overwhelming support from this community, the Arp FFA Booster Club was able to expand our scholarship program this year. Traditionally, we award 3 scholarships totaling $1,500, but this year we proudly awarded 6 scholarships totaling $4,200 to an outstanding group of Arp FFA seniors.

We are also saddened to hear about the departure of Ms. Williams and Mrs. Pond as they leave Arp ISD to explore other opportunities. Their impact on Arp FFA, our students, and the agricultural program has been tremendous, and they will truly be missed. We wish them nothing but the best in all of their future endeavors and thank them for the time, dedication, and investment they have made into the lives of our students.
