I have had my follow up with oncology-

I am happy to report that I am still under surveillance (remission), they have replaced my stent without complications!

I will go back in 4 months for my next followup and hopefully continue the trend of such great news!! 💪🏼💚

I’m at a loss for words—
Yesterday I got the call that one of my best friend, one of my biggest cheerleaders was gone. This one isn’t easy for me-

The Big Guy had his appointment today…
and God is good! 💚💪🏼

HE IS STILL CANCER FREE 🙌🏼🙏🏼
He will still be under surveillance and will come back in 3 months for a CT scan again!

The Dr believes the two spots that were seen could be reactive lymph nodes, because of the bowel being active, or even a little bit of scar tissue causing them to show on the CT scan the way they did.

There is nothing showing on the PET scan that’s showing cancer or anything new.

The Big Mans doctor has scheduled a PET scan for October 28th— two new lymph nodes have shown up, and they want to see if there’s any change or spread. It’s an aggressive disease, so this scan will help decide what treatment comes next. They also mentioned a possible follow-up with a specialist at Shadyside once we have the results. Taking it one step at a time. 💪🏼💚

It’s a been a year since diagnosis…..
Started out as a whirlwind, but the Big Man is determined to stay and come out on top!

We have made it through chemo, we were given the news of remission!

We truly believe this has come from his high spirits, his will to never give up, and ALL OF YOU and the continued prayers and support!

We go back next week for our next follow up and hoping to still come back with the good news of remission- and the forward steps!

Had our 3 month check up today! 💚💪🏼
Happy to report the Big Guy is still in remission, he has some tests scheduled between now and his next 3 month check up! 🙌🏼

We are thankful to continue on our Remission journey- but ask the prayers never stop 🙏🏼

A message from the big man himself-
He had a follow up appointment to find out the results of the chemo and what progress we have made!

“God is Good! Dr. Liang says everything looks good! I have responded well to treatments.
The next two years will be vital if anything develops but I just have to watch for symptoms & how I feel!
I will have to go back every 3 months to get my port flushed unless anything comes up in the meantime”

Thankfully we can say- WE ARE IN REMISSION!
Thank you soooo much from the bottom of our hearts for all the prayers, love and support!
We aren’t through it all but we have got the best news for now! 💪🏼💚
