Last week, as we celebrated the first year of Teach From DeHart Academy, we also had the privilege of recognizing students who truly stood out throughout the year. These awards honor the dedication, passion for learning, respect, character, and perseverance demonstrated by our incredible students. Earlier this week, we celebrated every student who dared to dream bigger, every family who trusted a new path, every staff member who poured their heart into this mission, every board member, donor, and community supporter who believed in what Teach From DeHart Academy could become.🎓

In just one year, we have witnessed extraordinary growth, achievement, leadership, and impact. Together, we have built something special…a community united by the belief that education should inspire purpose, excellence, and opportunity.📖

This evening celebrated our first chapter, but the legacy we are building is only just beginning. Impact all ways in all ways.🌎

Making HISTORY with these final projects!🗺️🏛️ Our students are learning how to command a room, communicate with confidence, and lead with their voices.

Through final project presentations, our students are challenged to practice public speaking, maintain eye contact, communicate with intention, and actively engage with an audience. These are the skills that create future leaders — the kind of leaders who can walk into any room with confidence, hold power in conversations, and communicate ideas effectively and professionally.🏆

At TFDA, we are intentional about building students who are not only academically strong, but prepared to thrive in every environment they enter.💙

Join us in celebrating Paisley Smith, our Student of the Month at Teach From DeHart Academy!👏 We recognize Paisley for her natural talent of standing out in a crowd, willingness to help others, and her ability to adapt to any situation thrown her way.

Paisley was unanimously voted by all TFDA staff members—an achievement that reflects not only her hard work, but the respect she has earned across our entire community.

This is the highest level of honor a student can receive at TFDA, and she has truly risen to the occasion.🏅As a symbol of this accomplishment, Paisley received her official TFDA Jacket—representing leadership, commitment, and excellence.🔥

To everyone who donated to make this trip possible — THANK YOU!💙 Because of your support, our 5th graders had the opportunity to experience Philadelphia in ways that went far beyond the classroom.

Part of the mission at Teach From DeHart Academy is creating opportunities that expand our students’ knowledge, confidence, and worldview. Through this business trip, our students learned how to travel responsibly, manage money, experience fine dining etiquette, explore the city where our nation was founded, and immerse themselves in the history that shaped our country.

These are the moments that inspire dreams, build life skills, and create memories our students will carry forever. Thank you for believing in our mission and investing in experiences that are helping redefine what education can look like. 🇺🇸✨
