On saying goodbye to the legends of our time and continuing their legacy.

Rest in peace Gloria Steinem.

The picture used of Gloria is taken in 1975 at the LBJ Library by Jay Godwin.

Imagine not having work authorization because of long wait times, no money for food because of cuts to SNAP, and not being able to drive. All this while having escaped war and seeing your country go up in flames.

This is where Olga’s List steps in.

We’re losing our ESOL program…

Unless we raise $30,000.

Our English for Speakers of Other Languages program has been a pillar of Olga’s List since the beginning. The program helps Ukrainian refugees grow their confidence and prepare to enter the workforce. It helps them adapt to their new surroundings, bond with their neighbors, and make lasting connections with the people around them.

On September 30th, our federal funding ends. Those funds keep our ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) program running.

The ESOL program enables us to prep our Ukrainians for their new life in the U.S., away from war. It enables them to enter the workforce, and start rebuilding.

To keep our ESOL program going we need to raise $30,000. That money helps pay our tutors, many of whom are refugees themselves. Help us continue our work.

To donate, head to the link in our bio (comments on Facebook) or head to OlgasList.org.

Become a supporter today. Every dollar, every share, every like, helps.
