What better way to wrap up FIRE PREVENTION WEEK than with a TRIVIA GIVEAWAY?!

We’ve got a fun challenge for our community, and TWO lucky winners will take home a prize! 👀

We had a wonderful week celebrating FIRE PREVENTION WEEK with our community!

Throughout the week, kids had the opportunity to:
🚒 Meet some of our local firefighters
🧯 Tour the fire trucks and fire hall
👨‍🚒 Try on real firefighter gear
🔧 Learn how different firefighting equipment works
🔥 Learn important fire safety tips and what to do in case of a fire

We love having the opportunity to connect with our community and help teach the next generation how to stay safe!

🏠 A FEW FIRE SAFETY REMINDERS FOR HOME:
✅ Check your smoke detectors and replace batteries as needed.
✅ Develop a fire escape plan with your family.
✅ Practice a home fire drill and make sure everyone knows where to meet outside.

There are many people that we couldn’t do this without — Jerry's Home Quality Foods & Derek Hahn for making sure we have enough food, utinsels, and supplies, Chef Craig’s Catering for the use of the grill, the Sibley County Fair for the use of the building, & Arlington Raceway-Official Page for their flexibility & endless support as they were preparing for their final night of racing this season!

TODAY is the day! Come out and join us for a delicious pork chop dinner hosted by Arlington Fire Department Relief.

🍴 Dinner includes: savory pork chop, coleslaw, baked beans, soft bun, & dessert
📍 Location: Sibley County Fairgrounds (Porky’s Building)
🕔 Time: Saturday, 10/3 — 4-7:30PM (or until gone)
💲 Cost: $15
🚗 See the map below to help with entry and exit routes as Arlington Raceway-Official Page hosts its final night of racing for the 2026 season! Perhaps you could grab a dinner & head to the races with the family this evening. It’s going to be a GREAT fall day!

Gather with your neighbors, call your family, have a friend’s night & enjoy a delicious dinner! All proceeds help support your local fire department and the services we provide to our community.
