💸 What makes a research incentive ethical?

A new study explored how people living with HIV, researchers, and IRB members think about research incentives—and found important differences in perspective. While researchers and IRB members were often concerned that incentives could be too high, people living with HIV were more concerned that incentives could be too low, potentially undermining trust and feeling exploitative.
