For many rural communities in La Guajira, Colombia, life used to stop when the sun went down.

Through our partnership with Tierra Grata, solar-powered streetlights are bringing light, safety, and connection to communities without access to electricity.

In 2025 the Noche Grata project supported:

• 76 solar streetlights installed
• 9 rural communities reached
• 1,081 people benefiting from safer nighttime mobility

Communities helped install the lights and selected local “Guardians of the Light” to maintain them.

When communities lead the work, solutions last.

Education can change the trajectory of a young person’s life.

In Kenya’s informal settlements, many students face barriers to continuing their education after primary school.

Through our partnership with CFK Africa, youth receive mentorship, leadership training, and academic support that helps them stay engaged and pursue their goals.

In 2025 the program delivered:

• 20 study camp sessions
• 8 mentorship and leadership workshops
• Ongoing guidance and support for students navigating secondary education

Programs like these help young people build confidence, leadership skills, and long-term opportunities.

Mental health support is often one of the most overlooked needs in humanitarian crises.

In Jordan, displaced families and host communities face prolonged uncertainty, trauma, and economic hardship.

Through our partnership with SAMS, culturally informed mental health services are helping individuals rebuild emotional stability and resilience.

In 2025 the program supported:

• 3,886 participants receiving mental health care
• 58% women beneficiaries
• Individual therapy, family support, and youth programs

For many participants, access to therapy and psychosocial support represents a turning point toward healing.

“You saved me from one of the darkest chapters of my life.”

When disasters strike, recovery is about more than rebuilding homes.

It’s about restoring livelihoods.

In Mindanao and Northern Cebu, floods, typhoons, and earthquakes disrupted the lives of thousands of families. Through our partnership with MARADECA, communities began rebuilding with practical support and local leadership.

In 2025 we supported:

• 291 farming families rebuilding their livelihoods
• 315 families receiving typhoon recovery supplies
• 629 families receiving earthquake relief support

Today many families are planting again, producing food, and rebuilding stability for their children.

“We used to buy food. Now we grow it—and sometimes even share it.”

Healthcare should not disappear during conflict.

In the Kharkiv region of Ukraine, many families can no longer safely reach hospitals. Mobile clinics are helping bring care directly to communities affected by years of war.

In 2025, through our partnership with MedGlobal, we supported:

• 585 patients receiving medical care
• 162 people receiving mental health support
• Treatment for chronic illnesses, infections, and reproductive health needs

For many patients, these visits are more than medical care—they are a moment to be heard, supported, and treated with dignity.

Mobile healthcare allows local professionals to reach people who would otherwise go without care.

Indigenous Peoples' Day | August 9
ENG "In La Guajira, more than 78,000 households still lack access to electricity. Behind this number are families who cannot refrigerate their food, entrepreneurs whose businesses are limited, and entire communities that rely on long and costly journeys to obtain basic necessities. Tienda Grata was created to transform this reality: using solar energy, we convert small spaces into sustainable community stores capable of powering freezers and other essential equipment."

This year, we celebrate our work with our partners in La Guajira, Colombia, where traditions run deep and community is everything.

Together with , we supported a powerful project: the Tienda Grata—a free community store where dignity, access, and local values converge. In a region where climate and geography pose daily challenges, this initiative reflects our shared commitment to co-creating solutions with the community, not for them.

Special thanks to our incredible volunteer lead Maria Gabriela for driving this project forward with passion and dedication.

🎥 Watch how this project is helping weave resilience, reciprocity, and self-reliance into the social fabric.

On this day, and every day, we reaffirm our belief: when Indigenous communities thrive, the world becomes more just, sustainable, and wise.

"🌱 Celebrating Indigenous Resilience 🌱

This International Indigenous Peoples Day, we honor the strength, knowledge, and traditions of Indigenous communities.

In the Philippines, Indigenous farmers are learning new vegetable farming techniques with our partner MARADECA, using organic fertilizers and sprayers to restore their lands after severe flooding.

Every skill shared brings hope and sustainable recovery to families affected by disaster. 💚

🎥 Watch the transformation in action.
