Dyanna Moyer with Washington County Farm Bureau Women’s Committee showed Prairie Grove Middle School lesson from the Farm Bureau Dairy Reader then showed how to make ice cream . Students had the option to read the dairy reader and take the quiz in the back for a prize . Total of 113 students .

Farm Friends last night was wonderful. Over 1,000 adults and children learned all about agriculture, enjoyed hot dogs, homemade beans and ice cream.

Washington County Farm Bureau ended Farm Bureau Week by collecting food for The Northwest Arkansas Food Bank. We had a wonderful week of showing what generous people we have in our organization.

Washington County Farm Bureau is celebrating Farm Bureau Week this week. Washington County Judge Deakins signed a proclamation for Farm Bureau Week, Women’s Committee provided treats for Prairie Grove Elementary staff for two days, Fayetteville and Springdale Farm Bureau staff were celebrated with gift bags and pizza. Washington County Farm Bureau offices gave gift bags to members and are having drawings for amazing prizes. Washington County knows how to Celebrate Farm Bureau Week.

We are so proud of Cheyenne Holliday. Congratulations on winning the discussion meet. We are also so proud of Cody Holiday for making the finals of the Farmers and Ranchers discussion meet.

Cheyenne Holliday from Washington County was named the winner of the YF&R Discussion Meet at the Arkansas Farm Bureau’s 91st Annual Convention. She will represent Arkansas at the American Farm Bureau Convention in January. Her victory highlights the knowledge and skills she carries as an ag teacher, FFA advisor and generational family farm owner.
