I've been getting alot of questions regarding the position of Association Manager for Charleston USBC. This is a FULL TIME position that starts August 1 and ends July 31 of the following year. That is 12 full months of FULL time work and the expense the Association Manager received was $2,400 for the entire year. I've gotten questions if you can quit your full time job, that comes out to $200 a month over the full year. This is a FULL TIME position with PART PART PART PART time pay. The position requires your summer be spent behind a desk to get everything accomplished. While the bowling session comes to an end for the summer, that is when the summer work begins with final averages, summer leagues and sanctions, the end-of-season yearbook and Secretary Workshop. You will have zero training. You will have no templates to work from as well. There will also be no training in WinLabs which is the program that USBC uses. The association is a corporation so there is much to do in that area and there will be no training on that as well. So if you think working this FULL time job at $200 (or less) per month, feel free to inquire. This is a full time job for a retired person who has no family and no life who wants something to do. If this sounds like you, inquire within. This position will also come with dealing with President Rose Brodersen who refused to pay the Association Manager $2,767 for the running the WV Sate tournament and being chained to the desk for 5 full months, if that sounds like someone you want to work with, good luck!
