🚧 TRAFFIC & SCHOOL CROSSING UPDATE FOR THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 3 🚧

Families, please be aware that the Village of Argyle will be completing work near our designated school crossing area tomorrow, Thursday, September 3.

⚠️ Important changes to be aware of:

• Highway 78 will be reduced to one lane in the work area. Flaggers will be present to direct traffic, so please plan for possible delays and allow extra time when traveling to and from school.

• The designated school crossing area will temporarily move one block south. Students who walk to school should cross at Colfax Street and Highway 78.

• Additional Argyle School District staff will be in the area to help direct and assist students walking to school.

The Village hopes to have the project completed by 3:00 PM, but as with any construction project, unexpected circumstances could affect the completion time.

🧡🖤 Please give yourself extra time, stay alert, and be patient with our students, staff, Village employees, and fellow drivers as we navigate these temporary changes.

Revitalize Argyle WI Park

🧡 A HUGE THANK YOU TO OUR ARGYLE COMMUNITY PARKS FOUNDATION! 🖤
What a great way to start the new school year! Yesterday, our students had their first opportunity to enjoy the brand-new playground at Argyle Legion Community Park, and we couldn't be more excited for them!

On behalf of the School District of Argyle, we want to extend a huge THANK YOU to the Argyle Community Parks Foundation and everyone who helped make this project possible. We know this playground represents countless hours of planning, fundraising, organizing, volunteering, and hard work over the past year and beyond. (Argyle Community Parks Foundation)

This is so much more than a new playground. It's an investment in our kids and our entire community—a place where Argyle children will play, laugh, build friendships, and make memories for many years to come.

Are you ready to strengthen your leadership skills, grow your business, and become more connected to your community?

The 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙘𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙀𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥 𝘿𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 (𝙒𝙀𝙇𝘿) program is designed for people in the workforce and entrepreneurs who want to build their skills and expand their impact. This program is offered in English and Spanish for people who live or work in Green or Lafayette Counties and are adults or high school seniors.

Participants will learn how to:
• Communicate effectively and manage conflict
• Lead teams and manage projects
• Connect with valuable community resources
• Strengthen civic engagement and community building

📅 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝘂𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

As we wrap up Stage One of our project—the concrete work—we need to temporarily close the playground to provide our crews with a safe working space.

We kindly ask everyone to please stay out of the playground area while the work is being completed this week. We know it’s exciting to see everything coming together, and we appreciate your patience as we take this important step toward getting the new playground ready for our community!
