CALLING ALL LIVESTOCK EXHIBITORS!! Join the Indiana State Fair Livestock staff for a Zoom meeting to explain, clarify, and answer questions about rules before entries open. The meeting will be held on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at 7PM EST. All are welcome to join! Zoom link will be posted on Facebook 45 minutes before the meeting starts.

🐄🐖 Ready to test your livestock knowledge? 🐐🐓

Join the 2026 Outstanding Livestock Exhibitor & Skillathon Contests—open to youth in grades 3–12! Whether you’re experienced or just curious, you can compete in one or multiple species…no animal project required.

📚 Species include beef cattle, dairy cattle, dairy feeder cattle, dog, goats, horses, lambs, poultry, rabbits, swine, and all around (combination of all species)

👥 Divisions: Beginner (3–5), Intermediate (6–8), Senior (9–12)

🗓 Open House Dates: Tuesday, May 5 (Ag Hall) & Thursday, June 18 (Sheep/Swine Arena) from 6PM-8PM

🗓 Contest Dates: (All at the Sheep/Swine Arena)
• Sunday, June 28 from 3PM–6 PM
• Monday, June 29 from 5PM-8PM
• Monday, July 6 from 5PM–8 PM

Parasites don’t care if your ewes are pregnant

Deworming going into lambing is one of those things that’s easy to overlook but makes a big difference. Healthier ewes, stronger lambs, and a smoother start overall

A few simple reminders
• Not every dewormer is safe at every stage
• That 2–4 week window before lambing matters
• Dose for your biggest ewe, not your smallest
