Today marks 4 years when Parker’s remains were found 29 miles downstream from where his boating accident happened near Spring Green in the Wisconsin River.
It was a LONG 356 days before our prayers of finding him were answered. We were blessed with the many people that helped us with our efforts to find him.
We were very thankful to unsuspecting people that canoed and camped on Steamboat Island that finally found him. They made him this simple and perfect cross that marked the end of his journey on earth which helped us have some closure.
Three dates that are so close together hold deep meaning to us. June 18th is Parker’s Birthday, June 25th is the day his remains were found and the tragic date when our nightmare started on July 3rd.
Parker Johnson Kruse will always be remembered in the hearts of the many that prayed for him and followed his story.
He truly was “ONE OF ONE!”
