THANK YOU to everyone that helped us replace the motor on the Promise Parker Boat!!

For all that donated money so we could purchase a nee Mercury 40hp Jet motor from Don's Marine. Al Anderson from Don's Marine reached out to Mercury and the two were able to give us a hefty discount on the new motor. Initially we were told it was set to arrive about October 8th. Lucky for us it came early and my cousin Chase Brummer installed it last Friday!!

I picked it up last Saturday morning. Then this past Wednesday, August 6th, my sister Joni Johnson-Kropp and I took it out on the WI River to "season it /break it in." Matt from Don's Marine explained that initially you have to run the motor for two hours and various speeds non stop. Gave us the written directions to follow.

We put the boat in at the Hwy. 14 boat landing. something i had never done before. Then we headed downstream to more familiar territory.

The river was quite low but luckily with our new jet motor we could go on very “skinny water” /shallow water.

We drove all the way down to the new Lone Rock Bridge and then up past Trader’s Tiki Bar and back to the boat landing. It is crazy how the the river changes. We were still able to navigate around after spending so many hours on it when we were searching for my son, Parker Kruse in 2021/2022.

We were discussing how beautiful the river really is on top but underneath in the current that is a different story. Yet we saw people swimming in it, canoeing, tubing and boating without life jackets on. crAzY!

If a person doesn’t want to wear a life jacket that is their choice. It would be nice if they don’t wear one they should AT LEAST WEAR BRIGHT OR NEON COLORS so they are EASIER TO SPOT when looking for them.

Oops…sorry. Back to the new motor. The NEW MOTOR is amazing!! We all with Promise Parker are grateful to have it so we can continue to help put in communities when the need is there💙

After Francesco di Filippo's boat capsized in the Wisconsin River, law enforcement and volunteers searched every day until he was found. Now they're like family to his mother.

4 YEARS AGO TODAY OUR HEARTS BROKE LIKE NEVER BEFORE! JULY 3rd will ALWAYS be the day that changed our world. It is like a knife that cuts away at your heart .

Today I had a reading with the medium, Page Powers. She told me the area where Parker was back in August 2021 although he was found until 6/25/22 356 days later. My reading was rescheduled by her last Saturday as I was want to see if she any insight where Frank Di Filippo could be found. Ironically my reading was rescheduled on this day.

Also prayers were FINALLY answered and Frank was found last Sunday. His funeral and burial was today July 3rd.

Yesterday my sister, Julia and I drove to Chicago to attend his wake. It was a beautiful tribute to another young man that was taken too soon while on the WI River. The funeral home absolutely beautiful and designed so friends and family could sit together and share stories or a smile as they were all touched by a wonderful young man and his family and girlfriend.

I was surprised by a beautiful bouquet of flowers by friendJessie Ryan when we arrived back home at 9:30.

I put more flowers in the river in Spring Green near where Parker’s accident was. I was going to put the boat in but decided against it when I saw that the river was covering their boat landing. Then I stopped to visit our dear friends The Anding’s before heading to Port Andrew.

I put the boat in without any issues. I was the only one at the boat landing at that time so I didn’t feel like I was on display. At times we would get comments like ,oh you left the guys at home today?!

Then I drive out to Steamboat Island but wasn’t able to dock as it too was flooded. I had a little picnic lunch and just sat in silence and it was what I needed. Then I made a video tossed my homemade cross and flowers in the area he was found and headed back to shore.

At this time there was a single gentleman sitting there and he told me that I had a nice boat. I agreed. If he only knew the history of what that boat is used for. No one ever told me that the boat is nice before.

So on this day as I remember my son, Parker Johnson Kruse and Frank Di Filippo please remember River Safety.

PROMISE PARKER to WEAR your LIFE JACKET and USE your engine cut-off switch/Kill Switch on the boat so that your family doesn’t have to have days like today for us and Frank’s family💙

HEY FRIENDS! FRANK WAS FOUND!. This is the LAST search update video on Frank by Jackie and Parker’s Warriors of Promise Parker.

We may not have found Frank personally but we were part of his team. There were many that helped look for Frank when they could just like us. . You have seen our Promise Parker Team through our FB page.

Parker is the face and the reason we do what we do. His tragedy and story inspired us to help others when we can.
Jackie is the voice of our searches.

Parkers’s Warriors that took the time to help search for Frank were Russ Fiene, Timm Zumm and Bowie The River Dog, Bob Baker, Janna Johnson, Julia Johnson, Joni Johnson-Kropp, Dana Gee, Chase & Dillion Brummer, Susie Fiene, Becky Jo and other friends that assisted as well Lina and Brian Schulz, Chris Zuelke and Richie Sikorski.

Not to mention the many others individuals and organizations.

It takes a village and together we can provide hope and support and do great things as one💙

Frank Di Filippo was FINALLY found today!!!

I am sure there are bitter sweet feelings for his family, his girlfriend and friends on this day.

Now they can have closure as they continue to grieve this beautiful soul that has touched so many of us that didn’t have the privilege of knowing Frank personally.

Through pictures and memories that were graciously shared with opened my eyes to what a wonderful young man he was. A young man that loved his parents and little sister, girlfriend and family. How his Granpa Luis was best friend and he was trying to help save him at the time of the accident. Frank is a hero!

I am sure that he and Parker have probably met in Heaven. They have a lot in common.

I look forward to meeting Frank one day. Until that time I will continue to help spread the word on river safety in honor of Parker and Frank💙💙

6/19/25 another day looking for Franc Di Filippo on the WI River. My sister joined me and then we ran into one of “Parker’s Warriors,” Russ Fiene.

While catching up with Russ, he said he got rained on. He was surprised that some locals down river didn’t know about Franc missing in the river for 11 weeks today! We need to get more awareness out there! That way people that are out on the river know to look for him while they are on the river. The river is so BIG!

One picture shows my underwater camera getting caught in tree branches which I was able to get free.

The pictiure of the sonar on our Humminbird was a zoomed in area that I was looking at … turned out to be nothing this time… hopefully next time.

Lastly we were able to get off the river and packed up by 4:20 so we could listen to our sister Janna and her daughter Lydia sing at local night at The Shed in Spring Green. I dropped Julia off there with the boat and joined her after I went home and cleaned off the mosquito spray😜
