Rex (biggest Leon dog) had surgery on Friday to remove a toe. Started out as broken toe nail turned out either severe infection or bone cancer. Will update after pathology is in.
Rex is also heartworm positive.
If you can donate to care, please make donation to Ardmore Animal Hospital. We still have OKC dogs from confiscation case needing vetted. Patti and I have taken in and on a very large amount this summer. Any help is hugely appreciated!! Thank you, Jodi

These are the Leon babies that have been vaccinated, given flea, tick & heartworm preventative and are all heartworm negative. If you are wanting to adopt one, please let me know which one so that I can get them on the schedule for Spay/Neuter.
If you would like to foster one or two until they get a home, that would be great. They all just want love. You would need to have a fence yard for potty time and patience to work with them on potty training. I will set up their appts to be spayed or neuter and I will need the foster to be able to take them to get appointment and pick them back up. Fostering can be a week or two or months, it just depends on how quick we can find homes or transport to a rescue up north.

Seven more of the Leon dogs at the vet for vaccines and heartworm test. Then we start the spaying and neutering.
First crate is Tom and Jerry, second crate is Cagney and Lacey, third crate is Buzz, Wood and Pixar. All these babies need good loving homes. Anyone willing to foster one or two, that would be awesome. You can foster to adopt if you would like. You must have a fenced yard and they are inside dogs in training. They have lived in the elements all their lives and now they are going to know what Love is all about. You can text me at 580-221-3824 if you want to adopt or foster.

Thank you to the person or persons that sent toys, dog bed, dog blankets, dog food and paper towels from our wishlist. There was no note with the boxes. Thank you from all the Leon pups ❤️

6 of the 24 went to the vet to be checked out, vaccinated and heartworm tested. 5 of the 6 are heartworm negative, which is awesome. Rex is heartworm positive. A couple have skin infections from flea bites, so we have antibiotics. They have also been treated for fleas, ticks and worms.Mocha has cerebellar hypoplasia, part of her brain didn’t develop, so she has trouble walking and tends to lose her balance.

A big thank you to Dr Crabtree & the girls at Carter County Animal Hospital for taking such great care of these babies. Also a HUGE THANK YOU to Linda Johnson for putting money on our account to help us and thank you to everyone who has donated towards their care, the blankets, towels, beds and dog food are such a blessing.
Without you guys helping, we couldn’t do all that we do. 🩷🐾💙🐾 🐾
