Just a friendly reminder, we will be doing our Kay Woi Drive this Friday from 11:30am-2:00pm (info below). We will also be doing a UIHS mini–Farmers Market.

We will have a limited supply of Garden Produce:
Beets
Rainbow Carrots
Swish Chard
Collards Lettuce Mix
Spinach
Strawberries

2026 UIHS Garden Starts and Seeds Giveaway in Weitchpec, CA. We will be at Smith River (Dat -naa-svt Community Center) and at UIHS Taa’-at-dvn) Health Clinic from 11:30am-1:00pm) Friday 5/8

It’s time to get your garden ready. Come pick up vegetable seeds and plant starts at the Annual
Potawot Community Food Garden Starts & Seeds Giveaways. Each event begins at 11:30 AM
and goes until 1:00 (or before depending on how quickly we run out).

Dates and locations are as follows:

🌱 April 29 - Klamath, at Yurok Discovery Village
🌱May 6 - Weitchpec, at Aawok Libby Nix Community Center

Join us this Tuesday, 3/31 for our Volunteer Serve-A-Thon (rain or shine)
9:30 AM - 12:30 PM

Pre-register by Thursday, March 26 at hum.link/YesServe.

This is an annual event that serves as a finale for the annual Y.E.S. fundraising! They can accommodate up to 100 volunteers.

Volunteers will assist with outdoor projects (rain or shine) which may include weeding, tending greenhouse plants, orchard care, and more! Bus transportation provided for students, staff and faculty.
