A few highlights from the Los Angeles Geranium Society Geranium conference this past Thursday. We had such a great turnout. It was a day of informative discussions, plant raffles and meeting with new and longtime friends. Everyone from lifelong Pelargonium experts to interested newcomers. As spring rapidly approaches, stay tuned for information on Geranium happenings! The next Los Angeles Geranium Society meeting will be on Tuesday April 21 from 7pm to 8:30. All are welcome, we hope to see you there.

The next Geranium Society LA meeting is this Thursday, March 12 from 10am to 2pm! This meeting will be a fundraiser with a special plant raffle, silent auction and a chance to meet fellow Pelargonium lovers! All happening in the Bamboo Room of Los Angeles County Arboretum. See you there

Our monthly meeting is this Tuesday, November 18th at 7:00pm (doors open at 6pm) in the Bamboo Room at LA County Arboretum. All are welcome!
At this month’s meeting there will be a silent auction fundraiser. It is also dessert night as well as our monthly raffle where you can win some of the best geranium and other plants you have ever seen. The plant of the month discussion will be on winter growing Pelargoniums. Attendees are encouraged to bring their winter growing Pelargoniums to share with the group. If you have questions about the best methods and environments for growing or if you’re not sure whether your plant is a winter grower, bring these questions to the meeting! Did we mention it is dessert night?

The Geranium Society of Los Angeles meets every 3rd Tuesday of the month at the Los Angeles County Arboretum. At the last meeting, members exchanged cuttings from their favorite pelargonium plants. President Jay Kapac along with Ardhra, retrieved tubers from a dormant Pelargonium echinatum branched shrub. In addition to that, we were honored to have a very special presentation by propagation expert and dedicated member of GSLA, Joe Flores. Needless to say, our meeting was a night of geranium activity from start to finish.
