May 2026 Pupdate for Justin

Justin spent some time in foster care this month as part of his evaluation. He was an excellent houseguest and his foster family described him as a really sweet, gentle, and affectionate boy. He loves to be with his person and will often lean his head against you and just sit there lovingly.

Today, Highlands Ranch club joined us at Denver International Airport for a training outing. Thanks to Maya and Brett for being tour guides and Mary Flynn for arranging this tour, including going through TSA screening and riding the train to the C concourse. All the pups did very well.

Our club hosted a Walk for PAWSitive Impact 2026 at Washington Park in Denver. Puppy raisers from several Colorado clubs and a couple working guides joined us. Our young 9 week old pups happily rode in dog strollers. It was a cool, cloudy morning, but the park was still filled with runners, walkers, lots of dogs, bikes, skateboarders, and other modes of moving on the pavement. Local tv channel 31 Fox News interviewed a puppy raiser and a guide dog handler at the end of our walk.
