We distribute hygiene products and essential daily living items to people of all ages. In 2011, our founders Ann Hinkfuss and Stephanie Bowers were part of a women’s mission trip to a shantytown in Peru called Pachacutec. One day they visited an adult child care facility and what they saw that day would change the trajectory of their lives. Unfortunately, they were forced to reuse disposable diape

rs because they had no other option. They had to make the difficult decision – food, water, shelter, or diapers. Shortly after, Stephanie’s first son was born, named Jake. They used modern cloth diapers on him and decided to collect the cloth diapers he outgrew for those 15 babies and Jake’s Diapers was born. Originally, Jake’s Diapers was created to help those 15 babies in Peru. Today, we’ve impacted over 63,000 lives in over 60 countries including their own Wisconsin backyard. In 2020, Jake’s saw explosive growth into various core hygiene programs including period products and adult incontinence products. Now, through a network of partners, together meets various human
needs: basic, emotional, social and educational. Our work allows every person a step up toward living healthy, feeling safe and experiencing self-worth so that
individuals and communities thrive. Donations can be sent to:

Dear Partners and Supporters,

With deep gratitude and a heavy heart, Jake’s Network of Hope announces that we will be closing our operations as of Friday, September 12.

Over the years, we’ve been honored to serve our community through programs that have provided essential resources to families in need. We are proud of the impact we’ve made together and are incredibly thankful for your partnership and support throughout this journey.

As part of this transition, we would like to assure you that the Kimberly-Clark Eastern Wisconsin Diaper Bank will be fully operational. This vital initiative will continue as a partnership between United Way Fox Cities and VPI, Inc., and will not be impacted by our closure. Families and partner agencies can expect uninterrupted service from the Diaper Bank.

However, please note that the Hope Hub and our cloth diaper programs will cease operations as of September 12. We understand the importance of these services and are grateful to have been able to offer them to our community.

Thank you for walking alongside us in this mission. Your support has helped us bring hope and dignity to thousands of families, and we are deeply appreciative of the trust you placed in us.

With sincere gratitude,
Tom Gritton
